Although I started my blog back in 2016, through the pandemic, I realised my hobby could soon develop into a living. I started posting recipes to help people and engage with them during a time when human contact was limited. And the success of Just Jess Food has seen it grow into a community of likeminded people, trying and experimenting with new foods and drinks – as well as tips for travel and lifestyle culture.
It's about creating lots of super-easy recipes that people will make, be inspired by and I’m always taking inspiration from new foods and fresh, local produce.
I love supporting small, family-owned businesses and I’m so enthusiastic about learning and experiencing new things, because you can find inspiration anywhere – as long as you keep looking for it.
“My love for food started when I was a child, my mum was a chef, so I’ve always been into food. When I eat out, I love to ask the staff their favourite dish, I also like to try the specials on the menu, and anywhere that I travel I try the national dish. I find inspiration from anywhere and in anything."
